Stephanie Chang is a Veterinary Assistant who has been with Millwood Animal Hospital since January of 2015. Stephanie's career in companion animal care began when she worked in a grooming salon for five years. She is enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Mercy College.

"I love working at Millwood Animal Hospital because of the knowledgeable veterinarians and caring staff," she says.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys crafting animal collars, sewing, hiking, traveling, baking, and eating. She has a German Shepherd named Ivy.

Lauren PlanamentaLauren Planamenta is a Veterinary Assistant who joined our team in August of 2015. She began her career in companion animal care eight years ago and is enrolled in San Juan College's distance Veterinary Technology program.

Lauren says she most enjoys "learning more and more ways of becoming a substantial veterinary technician one day." She admires the passion and consideration our doctors and staff provide for "every single animal that comes through our door."

Lauren has four cats, Winks, Nora, Maya and Muffin, and two Pugs, Otis and Pug. She also has a lop-eared rabbit named Mr. Bun Bun. In addition to rescuing and fostering cats, Lauren enjoys traveling, playing softball, spending time with her family and animals, and "being a foodie."

Ashley TraserAshley Traser is a receptionist/assistant at Millwood Animal Hospital. She joined our team in September of 2015 and is responsible for checking clients in and out, keeping them and their pets comfortable while they wait to see a veterinarian, answering their questions, and assisting our technicians when needed. One unique attribute she brings to our veterinary hospital is her knowledge of dog training. She is currently furthering her education online through Penn Foster career college.

"I enjoy learning something new every day from the staff," she says.

Ashley has one dog, a five-year-old Dachshund named Bella. In her spare time, she likes to read, run, and spend time with family.
